Aid to Africa

Andrew Mwenda has said that aid to Africa only serves to exasperate the problems it is proclaiming to solve. He says that the main aim of aid agencies is to make themselves look better and that the money simply lines the pockets of politicians and bureaucrats. It is a sad state of affairs if this is the case but it is important that we take Mwenda's arguement into consideration. It may be more profitable to use the money to educate richer countries to prevent problems from escalating and repeating themselves in this generation and the next.
